The Last Thing I . . .

I love reading other people’s ‘the last thing I . . .’ when the Diabetes UK Magazine - Balance comes through. I’m always reading, watching, eating (!), listening to or laughing about something.

Grab yourself a nice cuppa and read my latest favourite findings for December 2018. Forget about diabetes for 5 minutes,. Go on, you’ve earned it . . .

Watched

McMafia on BBC iPlayer. James Norton is fantastic, as always.

Read

The Diet Cure and The Mood Cure by Julia Ross. A return to these essential books after many years. These were on the recommended reading list when I did my nutrition qualification and quite rightly so.

I’m currently working on restoring serotonin, endorphin and catecholamine levels here. More on the importance of amino acid therapy in relation to diabetes in a future post.

Ate

A turkey, salad sandwich with mayo. Pop-chips, plain/salted. And a satsuma 😋

Listened to

Opening - Dustin O'Halloran · Bryan Senti Save Me (Music from the Original TV Series)

Utterly breathtaking piece of music.

Laughed out-loud at

Dawn French’s story about her food poisoning on Graham Norton’s recent BBC episode. The funniest thing we have heard in forever. You have to watch!

Love that last minute!
